About the Author

The author lost in a cornmaze

Allison writes YA and general speculative fiction. Her work often involves themes of adventure and exploration, self-determination, feminism, and found families. More often than not, there will be a nod to aviation history somewhere in there, too.

As a pub trivia team captain, her head is filled with obscure facts that don’t lend themselves to day-to-day practicalities. She is also part of a weekly D&D game (2e homebrew), with regular smaller campaigns and one-shots to try out new settings and systems.

She has lived in California, Canada, and Great Britain, and returned to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Autumn 2017.
